U7's Manager Required Season 2009

Due to the sucsess of our nursery coaching we now have a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to run our addition U7 team for the season 2009.

Having been involved in many presentation nights in the past I appreciate the work that goes into the night but the committee and managers had gone that extra mile in making the night very special and memorable for the players and supporters of Woodhouse Juniors. The goals video in the background was a nice touch and the carousel of pictures of the players at Woodhouse was a great idea really well executed. How proud the players must have been to see their pictures in front of such a large audience. There was even a photo opportunity for every player and team, the players where stars for a night.

What made the biggest impact on me was the feeling of a community, a club, so many people seemed to have got involved in so many tasks, it was a pleasure to sit back and see it all happen. The organisation was first rate; provision was even made for late comers, a nice touch.

I have never seen so many people stay for so long after their own sections presentation had finished. This could be attributed to the impending disco but I doubt it as discos have been tried in the past and were dropped as a result of lack of interest. I think it was due more to the friendly atmosphere and people enjoying the evening.

Finally, I noticed that although this has been a very sucessful season for Woodhouse on the field of play, no big thing was made of winning.
